NEW YORK, (September 12) — Gridley & Company LLC (Gridley & Co.), a New York-based boutique investment bank that specializes in the digital media and information services sector, today announced it has hired three senior executives.

According to Linda Gridley, President and CEO, “These new hires show that not only does the digital technology sector remain vital in a moribund economy, it also demonstrates the vitality of our firm, and the recognition of our value to the major players in this industry.”

Peg Jackson joins Gridley & Co. as a Managing Director. She brings more than fifteen years of experience working in the venture capital industry, with strong operational expertise with early stage companies. She is a partner in Cava Capital, a technology venture firm. Prior to that Peg joined Neocarta Ventures in 2000 as a Managing Director investing in the technology sector and managing the portfolio. Investments include SilverPop, Zoom Systems, Cendura (acquired by Computer Associates), Datasynapse (acquired by Tibco) and Myrio (acquired by Siemens). Prior to joining NeoCarta, Peg was Vice-President of Business Development at NBC. She joined NBC in 1996, guiding investments in Internet and communication companies. Investments include Tivo (TIVO) and LivePerson (LPSN). Prior to NBC, Peg worked in the business development group at Reuters New Media, where she managed new acquisition and joint venture projects. She was also employed as a Media Analyst for the Toronto Dominion Bank. Peg received a BA in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from New York University.

Maura O’Neill joins the firm as a Vice President. Prior to this, Ms. O’Neill worked at Citadel Securities, Conway, Del Genio & Gries, and Lehman Brothers. Ms. O’Neill has executed numerous mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings as well as leveraged finance and equity transactions across a broad spectrum of industries including media, technology, marketing services, industrials, and healthcare. Ms. O’Neill earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Columbia University.

Michael Lambe joins the firm as a Vice President. Before this, he was an investment banker at Harris Williams & Co., where he focused on executing M&A transactions for leading private equity firms. Mr. Lambe’s previous experience also includes work in the M&A Practice Group at King & Spalding LLP, where he advised corporate sellers and strategic buyers in connection with a full spectrum of transactions.

Michael earned a J.D., with Honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law where he was a Chancellor Scholar and a published member of the North Carolina Law Review. He graduated from Duke University magna cum laude and with Phi Beta Kappa honors.
