NEW YORK (January 28, 2011) – Gridley & Company LLC (Gridley & Co.), a New York-based boutique investment bank that specializes in the Information Services industry, today announced that it has served as the exclusive financial advisor to ShopWiki Corp., a New York-based multinational Internet shopping search engine, in its successful sale to Oversee.net, an online marketing solutions and domain firm headquartered in Los Angeles.

ShopWiki, founded in 2005 and majority-owned by growth equity firm Generation Partners, is a technology driven comparison shopping Web property that has amassed one of the largest and most comprehensive consumer product databases in the world. Using this database, the Company has built a successful business by creating consumer facing comparison shopping search engines sites across eleven countries. According to Oversee.net, ShopWiki will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company as part of its expanding Vertical Markets division and is set to be the cornerstone for Oversee.net’s entry into the retail vertical.
